Azon are delighted to partner with a leading civils engineering firm in hiring a Senior Health & Advisor to be based in Offaly for a large pipeline of projects in the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and construction managers to be sure all potential risk management and safety issues are addressed.
- Monitor and analyse health and safety data and write up reports.
- Coordinating and liaising with stakeholders on Health & Safety protocol.
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Training/coaching junior safety officers.
- Carry out weekly site safety inspections and audits.
Requirements:
- Hold relevant degree in Health & Safety field.
- +4 years’ experience in the construction sector.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Hold a full driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of ISO and HSQE regulations and legislation for the construction sector.
- Proven ability to provide support, guidance and training when needed.
- Ability to prioritise work and reach deadlines.
