Our client is a multinational FinTech firm with offices based in Dublin. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The Regulatory Reporting Accountant will play a pivotal role within the finance team and have the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects in the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with CBI and EBA regulatory reporting requirements
- Prepare monthly and annual financial accounts
- Lead budget preparation and financial analysis
- Reconcile finance operations accounts monthly
- Facilitate payment scheme settlements and safeguarding transfers
- Monitor daily fund discrepancies
- Lead projects related to regulatory reporting and process improvement
- Conduct user testing for transformation projects
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and finance teams globally
Requirements:
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience within financial services
- Experience within FinTech or payments a major plus
- CBI and/or EBA regulatory reporting experience
- Knowledge of local tax rules and reporting
