Project Engineer

Azon is delighted to be partnered up with a leading Medical Device company to recruit for a Project Engineer.

Location: Castlerea, Roscommon

This role is reporting into the Business Unit Engineering Manager. The Project Engineer will have an understanding of engineering principals, theories, and practices to provide vital manufacturing support, drive process improvements, and lead projects across product lines.

Responsibilities:

• Offer support across various manufacturing processes.
• Be the driving force behind process enhancement initiatives aimed at cost reduction and heightened manufacturing efficiency through data-driven analysis.
• Take charge of project management duties.
• Conduct thorough process and product validations to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Adhere to the requirements of the quality and environmental management system.
• Undertake ad hoc duties and projects as delegated.

Requirements:

• Level 8 in Engineering or related discipline is preferable.
• 3 years experience in a medical device manufacturing engineering role.
• Familiarity with medical device validation protocols and associated documentation.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks
• Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
