Job Description:

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role within our client’s practice, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services and the continued growth of the firm. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough Technical Due Diligence, providing insightful analyses and recommendations.
  • Managing Dilapidations processes, ensuring effective resolution and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Overseeing Statutory Compliance Matters, staying updated on legal requirements and guiding clients through compliance challenges.
  • Leading and coordinating Project Management activities, ensuring successful project delivery within established timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Utilizing excellent communication skills to engage with clients and deliver comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborating effectively within a small, well-established team, contributing to a positive working environment.
  • Demonstrating commercial awareness and efficiency in managing workloads, showcasing a self-motivated and ambitious approach to career advancement.
  • Showcasing proficiency in IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD, Word, and Excel, to enhance the quality and efficiency of work.
  • Applying excellent technical knowledge to resolve complex building surveying challenges.

Key Requirements:

  • Possession of a BSc (Hons) Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven track record in Commercial Building Surveying, demonstrating relevant experience.
  • Proficient IT skills, including AutoCAD, Word, and Excel, to facilitate effective project management and documentation.
  • Possess a clean Full Driver’s License.
  • Exceptional technical knowledge in the field of Building Surveying.
  • Commercial awareness and organizational skills to contribute to the success and growth of the practice.
  • Personable nature with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Flexibility in approach to work, adapting to varying project requirements and client needs.
