Role – Site Manager (Permanent)

Location – Belfast, Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Job Overview: Azon Recruitment Group are working together with a global, tier 1 Contractor/Client Partner. Together we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Site Manager to lead and oversee a retail fit-out project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, outlining key milestones, tasks, and time lines.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
    • Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
    • Work closely with the project management team to develop and manage the project budget.
    • Implement and maintain quality control measures.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues promptly.
    • Identify potential delays and implement corrective measures to keep the project on track.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication.
    • Regularly update on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
    • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
    • Proactively identify challenges and develop effective solutions to keep the project moving forward.
    • Address issues related to construction delays, design changes, and unforeseen complications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably with a focus on retail fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
