Azon is delighted to be partnering with out one of the largest Irish manufactured grocery brands in the countries retail market to recruit for a HGV Mechanic to join their team!
Location: Granard, Co. Longford
Hours: Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be required to work 39 hours per week on a shift pattern of 5 days over 7 including weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, courteous customer service, fostering positive relations and promoting company products.
- Performs routine mechanical and preventive maintenance duties in the inspection, maintenance and repair of vehicles/ tail lifts.
- Coordinates repairs with Transport Managers.
Requirements:
- QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Heavy Vehicle Mechanics essential.
- Experience working on modern HGV Trucks & Trailers desirable.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
- Possess excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills when working with internal stakeholders.
- Capable of adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
