Finance Manager - Bloodstock

Azon has partnered exclusively with a renowned bloodstock business headquartered in County Meath, to appoint a Finance Manager to join the team. The role will report directly to the Finance Director, and contribute to strategic financial management and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of all monthly financial reports, including cash flow forecasts and revenue reconciliations.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide regular management reports.
• Produce accurate and timely month-end management accounts and commentary to the Finance Director.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and offer recommendations.
• Monitor and report on essential financial performance indicators such as sales, gross margin, and turnover.
• Produce ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
• Dealing with international counterparts on the year-end close, intercompany recharges and annual audit process.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Circa 3+ years PQE, ideally within an SME environment
• Experience within the bloodstock sector a distinct advantage
• The ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)
• Strong Excel skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to deliver efficiencies and improvements
