Azon is working with a well-established and leading Top Tier Main Contractor with projects all over Ireland and Europe. They are currently engaged in some of Ireland’s most exciting construction projects and are constantly creating vacancies with opportunities for progression at all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• In this role you will be required to liaise with design and consultants teams and oversee all the engineering and architectural work and ensure its successful implementation, in accordance with stakeholder/client expectations.
• Set up and manage a tracking scheduling to centralize the information and check the status of the project according to previously approved technical submittals.
• Ensure critical design decisions are made in a timely manner in accordance with delivery and procurement programmes.
• You will be involved in leading design and site meetings and will be the daily point of contact on their projects for client, design and contractor teams.
• Carry out site inspections amongst others.

Requirements

• Around 7+ years of previous experience in a similar role is required, with an ability to lead, coordinate external consultants and manage clients.
• Background managing Design Projects with Building Contractors or Main Contractors is an advantage.
• A diverse experience with commercial, retail and related projects is an advantage.
• Relevant qualification in a Construction/Architectural discipline.
• Previous experience working with Residential, Commercial and a variety of different projects throughout your portfolio is an advantage.
• Strong design, technical and construction knowledge is essential for this role.
• Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations and Development Standards.
• Ability to liaise with other disciplines as the project progresses and demonstrate a great ability to solve problems promptly and prioritise tasks as necessary.
