Azon Recruitment Group are partnered with their client a large, well established Data Centre client partner with large scale projects across Ireland and Europe. With over 420 MW.

Together we have partnered to hire for multiple roles across Europe. We are actively hiring CSA Engineers for Frankfurt.

The Role

Collaborate with the Quality team to uphold quality control standards throughout the project. Ensure that completed works meet the required standards by managing the quality against approved benchmarks. Actively engage with QA managers to ensure timely submission of correct documentation by contractors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance:

    • Verify and ensure the quality of completed works, aligning them with approved benchmarks.
    • Coordinate with QA managers to guarantee the timely submission of accurate documentation from contractors.
  2. Sub-Contractor Management:

    • Liaise with subcontractors to track progress against schedules and conduct subcontractor meetings.
    • Manage site documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  3. Meeting Participation:

    • Attend and contribute to Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning, Co-ordination, and lookahead meetings, as well as Handover Meetings.
    • Review drawings with the design team and proactively resolve any issues.
  4. Contractor Work Monitoring:

    • Actively monitor and inspect contractors’ work to ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications, maintaining the highest quality standards.
    • Raise snag lists on the approved platform, conduct follow-up walks, and issue close-out reports promptly according to the approved Quality Management System (QMS).
  5. Sub-Contractor Activity Management:

    • Oversee subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
    • Ensure protection of finished works and prevent damage, raising observations when necessary.
  6. Coordination and Resource Management:

    • Coordinate works to ensure all trades have adequate time, materials, and resources to complete their tasks as per the program.
  7. Health and Safety:

    • Manage health and safety aspects, including material storage.
    • Actively participate in issuing daily Safe Plan of Action (SPA) and permits.
    • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the approved Method Statement Risk Assessment (MSRA)/ Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).
    • Participate in daily Design and Build (DAB) meetings and Whiteboard meetings to keep contractors informed about ongoing and upcoming works.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • 3+ years of experience working on large-scale projects.
  • Experience in facades and fit-out projects.
  • Previous experience with data centre projects is advantageous.
