Job Title: Corporate Finance Executive
Location: Dublin City Centre

In light of their ongoing expansion, our client is thrilled to announce an opportunity within their Corporate Finance department. They are looking to bolster their capabilities and expertise and are seeking a Corporate Finance Senior. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a keen commercial awareness and a sharp eye for detail.

This role presents a compelling opportunity for talented individuals to play a pivotal role in a rapidly expanding division of the company, with promising prospects for career growth and advancement. Our client’s Corporate Finance department boasts extensive expertise across all aspects of deal advisory, including mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory services, valuations, capital raising, and business planning.

The role will involve:

  • Working on financial due diligence engagements related to acquisitions or divestments by private equity investor groups and strategic corporate players;
  • Providing support on lead advisory M&A projects, MBO/MBI assignments
  • Assisting on valuation engagements
  • Creating robust and flexible financial models
  • Working with clients to prepare business plans in line with their organic/in-organic growth strategy;
  • Assisting the wider team on debt advisory engagements; and
  • Liaising with various stakeholders – clients, targets, financial institutions, legal advisors, etc.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified accountant with ACA, CFA, or equivalent qualification;
  • Have prior experience in deal advisory, audit, or corporate banking;
  • Possess a strong understanding of GAAP principles
  • Have advanced skills in MS Office – Excel and PowerPoint; experience in the use of databases such as S&P Cap IQ Pro, Mergermarket, Bloomberg, etc. is advantageous;
  • Be fluent in English, with other European languages being advantageous;
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports;
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills;
  • Be highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on their own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environment;
  • Be a strong team player with good organization and planning skills;
  • Possess strong time-management skills and the ability to work towards deadlines; and
  • Actively pursue self-learning, on-the-job training, and knowledge from other team members.
