Commercial Financial Manager

Our client is a leading dynamic Irish retailer and are looking to hire a Commercial Finance Manager to join their established team. They are a highly innovative company and the successful candidate will be involved in the strategic decision making and shaping of the business plan. This position reports to the Chief Strategic Planning Director. A generous salary along with benefits are being offered. It is a hybrid role based in Dublin and it is a permanent position. This opportunity would suit a candidate with good commercial business acumen and contribute by adding value for the overall strategy of the company.

Responsibilities

• Analysing, interpreting and communicating key financial and operational information to support management and stakeholders both internally and externally to improve the performance of the company in key areas.
• Collaborating with Senior Management to identify strategic KPIs by providing analysis and commentary
• Board reporting and management on sales and profit performance across the business
• Preparing annual budgets, forecasts and long-term plans
• Preparation of investment appraisal and business plans for ventures by providing insights, projections and analysis
• Collaborating closely sales team in the implementation of contracts and rebates.
• Implementing and ensuring accounting policies and controls are adhered to

The Candidate

• Qualified Accountant with 3-5 years’ PQE
• Commercial background and experience -FMCG, retail
• Strong commercial business acumen
• Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills
