VP, Funds Compliance Officer

Reporting into the Head of Regulatory Compliance, Azon are pleased to be supporting on this VP, Compliance Officer role to be based in a ManCo in Dublin City Centre. The role itself will sit in regulatory compliance and as such will suit a candidate with a strong knowledge of regulatory standards and expectations, particularly in UCITS, AIFMD, Fund Governance, CP86, investor protection, product governance, conflicts of interest, and delegate oversight.

The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance for the Irish fund range. You will get exposure to international markets, regulatory frameworks and diverse investment strategies. There is plenty of variety and a wide range of responsibilities too, including executing the Funds Compliance Programme, overseeing delegate compliance, and providing regulatory advice

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Funds Compliance programs or risk functions, including monitoring activities and audits
• Experience in reviewing, drafting, and implementing compliance policies and procedures, with the ability to propose enhancements and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
• Provide regulatory advise if needed and prepare management information as well as Board reports
• Support the Distributor Oversight programme
• Review, and where necessary draft and implement relevant compliance policies and procedures including propose enhancements to oversight activities
