Role: Supply Chain Senior Manager – Order Management and Logistics
Location: North County Dublin
About our client:
Azon are thrilled to be partnered with an internationally renowned pharmaceutical company in North Dublin for the recruitment of a Supply Chain Senior Manager in Order Management and Logistics. The successful candidate will lead a team of Regional Operations Specialists in optimizing the order-to-cash cycle, ensuring smooth supply chain operations, and delivering exceptional customer interactions. Reporting to the Customer Services Director, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, resolving complex issues, fostering innovation within the team, and driving collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
About the role:
- Lead a team to effectively manage customer needs and optimize supply chain operations.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex issues and provide guidance to the team.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, engagement, and empowerment within the team.
- Develop an understanding of product flows and ensure timely movement of products.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies.
- Drive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to eliminate supply chain blocks.
- Support integration initiatives to align with standard processes.
- Facilitate team growth and development through continuous learning and improvement.
- Deliver results in line with operational metrics.
About the person
- Previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager is necessary, including team management.
- A minimum of 3 years in supply chain management, involving strategic visioning, planning, critical thinking, and proficient communication, persuasion, influencing, and decision-making skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
- Essential experience in global order management, covering pick/pack processes, various payment methods, transportation modes, INCO terms, import/export procedures, and associated documentation.
- Preference for experience with dynamic and intricate supply chains.
- Demonstrated ability to excel within team settings, contributing collaboratively to decision-making.
- Proven experience in change management activities is highly desirable.
- Experienced in cross-functional collaboration with diverse and multi-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Must possess self-starting qualities with a track record of successful team leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
