Azon are delighted to partner with Ireland’s leading renewable energy solutions provider in hiring a Site Safety Manager to be based in Waterford. Our client has a large pipeline of projects in this area and are seeking to expand their Health & Safety team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and construction managers to be sure all potential risk management and safety issues are addressed.
- Create and execute workplace safety programs, emergency response plans, construction safety policies, and job-site hazard analyses.
- Implement construction health and safety training programs, including new hire safety orientation.
- Undertaking site support visits, conducting HS inspections and audits; completion of risk assessments.
- Investigate job-site safety reports and lead incident and injury evaluations.
- Ensure personal protective equipment is available and used correctly.
- Issue safety reprimands and corrective action recommendations when safety concerns are present.
- Monitor and analyse health and safety data, compile reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Relevant Health and Safety degree essential.
- Minimum 3 Years experience in a similar role is essential.
- Experience working in the Construction Sector is essential
- Ability to work independently and excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills are needed
