Azon are delighted to partner with Ireland’s leading renewable energy solutions provider in hiring a Site Safety Manager to be based in Waterford. Our client has a large pipeline of projects in this area and are seeking to expand their Health & Safety team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and construction managers to be sure all potential risk management and safety issues are addressed.
  • Create and execute workplace safety programs, emergency response plans, construction safety policies, and job-site hazard analyses.
  • Implement construction health and safety training programs, including new hire safety orientation.
  • Undertaking site support visits, conducting HS inspections and audits; completion of risk assessments.
  • Investigate job-site safety reports and lead incident and injury evaluations.
  • Ensure personal protective equipment is available and used correctly.
  • Issue safety reprimands and corrective action recommendations when safety concerns are present.
  • Monitor and analyse health and safety data, compile reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Health and Safety degree essential.
  • Minimum 3 Years experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Experience working in the Construction Sector is essential
  • Ability to work independently and excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills are needed
