Metallurgist / Heat Treat Specialist
Azon is delighted to be partnered with a well established manufacturing and tooling solutions organisation in Co. Clare for the recruitment of a Metallurgist Heat Treat Specialist for metals. This is the idela role for a candidate coming from a material science / characterisation educational background.

About the Role:
Supervise the heat treat operator employees, providing guidance and support where required.
Liaison with production on throughput and KPIs are fully supported.
Provide metallurgical support in the development of new products.
Advise on the impact of material specification changes on business.
Initiating and assisting in research and development projects from conception to implementation.
Obtain customer approvals for new suppliers and products.
Investigation of customer complaints of a technical nature including the review of issues with customers
About the Person:
BSc minimum is Material Science or Material Characterisation
2+ years experience working on a machine manufacturing environment – heat treat experience would be advantageous.
