Our client is an award-winning, multinational financial services provider with operations across Europe and the US. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Tax Manager on permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business as they continue to scale operations across Ireland and Europe.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review the preparation of Irish corporate tax returns, the calculation of tax provisions and the review of tax assessments
- Become the contact person for the Irish tax authorities and any third party tax advisors
- Consistently and comprehensively deliver on internal control framework and processes
- Work effectively with multi-jurisdictional teams
- Support senior leadership with the development and delivery of the tax budget
- Work on the pricing of new tax services opportunities in Ireland
- Work on multi-jurisdictional-specific tax projects, as required
- Assist with the development and implementation of the group tax strategy
- Build a tax team within Ireland and be responsible for recruitment, development and retention
Requirements:
- CTA Qualified
- Circa 3 years PQE within a financial services tax environment (Big 4 or another FS firm)
- Experience direct and indirect tax
- Exposure to EU tax
