Senior Supply Chain Manager - Order Management & Logistics

Azon recruitment is delighted to internationally renowned pharmaceutical company in North Dublin to recruit for a Senior Supply Chain Manager in Order Management & Logistics.

Our client’s global portfolio comprises top-tier, renowned brand-name products, global key brands, generics (including branded and complex generics), and a variety of offerings across numerous therapeutic areas.

Reporting to the Customer Service Director within the Order to Cash function, the Senior Supply Chain Manager in Order Management & Logistics will oversee a team of Regional Operations Specialists and focus on optimising the order-to-cash cycle, minimising supply chain disruptions, and ensuring exceptional customer interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a world-class team to efficiently manage customer needs and business requirements while ensuring smooth supply flow through the chain.
• Overseeing day-to-day activities within customer service operations and offering support in transactional execution as needed.
• Providing guidance and serving as an escalation point for resolving complex issues. Cultivating an environment of innovation, engagement, and empowerment within the team.
• Developing a deep understanding of product flows and interpreting financial, physical, and transactional material flow within the network.
• Leveraging global logistics expertise, including knowledge of INCO Terms, customs processes, and documentation requirements, to facilitate seamless movement of products.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant trade regulations and internal policies. Fostering collaboration and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to proactively address supply chain challenges.
• Supporting future integration initiatives aligned with standard processes. Documenting and optimising supply chain activities.
• Nurturing team skills and knowledge through continuous learning and improvement. Delivering results aligned with operational metrics.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager, including team management.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain management, encompassing visioning, planning, critical thinking, and strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience. Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
• Experience in global order management and familiarity with various supply chain aspects such as pick/pack processes, multiple payment methods, modes of transport, import/export processes, and associated documentation.
• Experience with dynamic and complex supply chains preferred. Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated experience in change management. Proficient in cross-functional collaboration within a matrix environment.
• Self-starter with a track record of successful team leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems.
