Azon are delighted to partner with a Tier 1 Main Contractor in hiring a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to be based on-site in Cork. Our client will be beginning construction on a large project in the New Year and are seeking to expand their Health & Safety team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that site personnel comply with site safety and company requirements.
- Undertaking site support visits to, conducting HS inspections and audits; completion of risk assessments.
- Monitor and analyse health and safety data, compile reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Deliver Health and Safety Inductions, and weekly Toolbox Talks.
- Assist with accident / incident investigation reports.
- Submit reports on a weekly basis.
- Carry out daily site walks and report findings to project supervisors immediately.
Requirements:
- Relevant Environmental, Health and Safety degree essential.
- Minimum 5-6 Years experience in a similar role is necessary.
- Experience working in the Construction Sector is essential.
- Ability to work on own initiative and the flexibility to adapt to client and project changes.
