Senior Associate, Compliance
Dublin city centre, hybrid working model
We are currently seeking a Senior Associate, Compliance to join our client – a leading wealth manager. As a Senior Associate, Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherance to regulatory requirements and internal policies and work closely with the Head of Compliance.
- Conduct thorough reviews of company policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Heavy focus on MIFID and CPC requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and initiatives, advisory to 1st line functions and 2nd LoD responsibilities
- Monitor and assess compliance risks within the organisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions
- Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and industry standards that may impact the company
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters
- Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for local governance and group committees
Qualifications/Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
- LCOI designation/qualification is preferred
- Regulatory knowledge – primarily MiFID II and the Consumer Protection Code (CPC)
- Previous relevant experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills – you will have the ability to take on complex tasks, e.g. impact analysis on updated regulatory guidance/CBI communications
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management software
