Senior Associate, Compliance

Dublin city centre, hybrid working model

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate, Compliance to join our client – a leading wealth manager. As a Senior Associate, Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherance to regulatory requirements and internal policies and work closely with the Head of Compliance.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of company policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Heavy focus on MIFID and CPC requirements
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and initiatives, advisory to 1st line functions and 2nd LoD responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess compliance risks within the organisation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and industry standards that may impact the company
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for local governance and group committees

Qualifications/Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • LCOI designation/qualification is preferred
  • Regulatory knowledge – primarily MiFID II and the Consumer Protection Code (CPC)
  • Previous relevant experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills – you will have the ability to take on complex tasks, e.g. impact analysis on updated regulatory guidance/CBI communications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management software
