Senior Accountant - Finance Transformation

Our client is a leading multinational with Headquarters based in Dublin. They have a new opening for a Senior Accountant – Finance Transformation to join the team on a permanent basis. The Senior Accountant – Finance Transformation will report into the Finance Manager and play a pivotal role in implementing and optimising ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance internal controls, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
• Analyse processes and document finance flows across multiple entities and systems (ERP, WMS, CRM), identifying synergies, standardisation opportunities, process enhancements, and developing implementation plans.
• Work on transformative ERP implementation projects, managing finance input, data reconciliation, data migration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations to audit standards.
• Prepare monthly financial and management accounts in accordance with reporting deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory accounting standards.
• Upload financial data to group consolidation tool.
• Participate in regular team and group meetings.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support the finance and commercial functions of the business.

Requirements:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA
• Experience working on finance transformation/systems improvements projects
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience across multiple ERP systems.
• Professional-level written and oral communication.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to develop innovative solutions to real business situations, with a proactive approach to project completion.
