Client and Role:
Our client is a market leading nationwide agency with a strong track record and brand name. They have a strong Valuation team nationwide and now require a registered valuer to join their market leading team in Cork. You would join a strong team of 7-10 valuation professionals across the country and have access to a large portfolio of assets and lead generation team. Strong commission per valuation and great autonomy on offer.
The role would be hybrid with 2-3 days required to visit the office, but again great autonomy on your schedule.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conducting valuations
- Specific financial institutions and lenders
- Probate valuations
- Family law valuations
- Project valuations
- HSE Fairdeal Scheme
- CGT / CAT Valuations
- Revenue Valuations
- LPT Valuations
- Inspect and measure properties for valuations.
- Assist the valuations team with delivery of high-quality valuation projects on schedule.
- To assist in the winning of business for the valuations department.
- Build and maintain relationships with the relevant branches to increase cross referrals within your assigned region.
- Be an effective team member of the valuations team contributing to the delivery of the annual business plan, while supporting each other in the achievement of individual and team KPIs.
- Proactively develop new business opportunities through relationships, networking and business development activities.
- Responsible and accountable for the quality of valuation work undertaken, to ensure compliance with the standards and expectations of the Valuers professional body- i.e. RICS/ SCSI/ IPAV.
- Utilises all relevant technology systems provided, maintains up to date and accurate records, ensuring valuations are continually and appropriately recorded.
Requirements:
- Registered Valuer (SCSI) or IPAV TEGoVA – Red Book / Blue Book Qualified.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of work.
- Organised and efficient, works on their own initiative with a flexible approach to all tasks.
- Proven ability to nurture and maintain strong relationships.
- Full clean driver licence.
