Azon Recruitment is excited to announce our collaboration with a leading manufactuer of home insulation in Ireland to seek out a Production Maintenance Manager for their Santry, Dublin location.

This role, reporting directly to the General Manager, entails overseeing production quality control and the management of technical maintenance, while also providing essential support to the General Manager in coordinating, supervising, and leading the small production team on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive the company’s production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strategically plan, recruit, organise, manage, and develop key resources within the Production Operative Team to foster and maintain a high-performance team.
  • Minimise technical downtime, optimise on operational efficiency, and enhance manufacturing and safety processes. Manage maintenance costs within budgetary constraints, while simultaneously improving asset and production cost efficiency.
  • Champion a safety-centric culture onsite, ensuring strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards and procedures.
  • Enhance plant reliability to enable the delivery of required production volumes.
  • Lead operational and strategic projects aligned with the asset care strategy, business objectives, and site performance goals.
  • Initiate and support lean, continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Desirable qualifications in Engineering or Manufacturing disciplines, though not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment such as FMCG or Manufacturing.
  • Exceptional communication skills and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in utilising MS Office tools. Demonstrated capability in successfully managing and supervising teams.
