Production Manager – Days Role
About the Client: Azon is delighted to be partnered with a well established manufacturing and tooling solutions organisation in Co. Clare for the recruitment of a Production Manager – Days only. This is a brand new role to the business working alongside the Operations Manager, overseeing a team on production floor.
Location: Co. Clare
About the Role:
Provide supervision and coaching to employees to achieve production goals.
Ensure on time delivery to customer order due date.
Develop and execute daily recovery plans for any missed production metrics.
Supervision and management duties of shift employees to include scheduling of leave, disciplinaries, grievances, etc.
Trouble shoot and provide cost effective resolutions to production problems.
Develop and promote a Continuous Improvement work environment.
Implement and support lean manufacturing techniques (VSM’ing, Kaizan, TPM, employee suggestions, etc.).
About the Person:
BSc in Scientific or Engineering or Production discipline required.
2+ years experience in people leadership and management in a manufacturing / production / engineering background.
