New Product Development (NPD) Manager – FMCG
About the Company: Azon is delighted to be partnered with a Cork based FMCG company for the recruitment of an NPD Manager with currently 1 direct report with plans to expand the team.
This person will be responsible for leading products from concept through to launch in a consumer facing role.
Location: West Cork
About the Role:
- Manager NPD projects through from concept to Launch, working cross functionally.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers.
- Discuss regularly with key managers internally to discuss plans in line with company strategy.
- Present NPD concepts with supporting data to decision-makers within the business.
- Conduct customer level opportunity assessment, market research, financial evaluation, and other customer on-boarding considerations.
- Liaise with Quality team in the compliance of packaging, ingredients and labeling for all relevant markets.
About the Person:
- Min BSC in Food Science discipline.
- 3+ years experience in Product Development/Research & Development or Technologist role in a similar FMCG related industry.
- Project management and planning experience.
