As a Healthcare Technology Manager, you will integrate into a dynamic, collaborative team of 3 seasoned professionals dedicated to providing technical support for healthcare equipment and IT systems.
Your primary responsibilities will revolve around fostering business development at new sites, maintaining existing customer sites, and cultivating a high-performing team with a robust work ethic.
Travel for this role is minimal as you will mostly oversee engineers who will do the majority of the travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the Technical Services department, ensuring optimal performance.
- Drive commercial initiatives to expand profitable business opportunities.
- Engage and influence key stakeholders within the Irish Health System.
- Foster a high-performing team culture aligned with organizational objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments, providing regular market insights
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in electronic/electrical/mechanical/biomedical engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience leading teams
- Prior experience (5+ years) in technical service and IT hardware maintenance and repair
- Comfortable working in clinical settings and interacting with healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with relevant EU Directives for medical devices and quality standards.
- Full Irish driving license and willingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland.
