Azon Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading pet food manufacturer to recruit for a HR Systems & Engagement Specialist based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

This hybrid opportunity is ideal for a candidate with a wealth of experience and a strong passion for HR systems and data related to HR, Talent, Recruitment, and Engagement.

The role involves providing operational support, continuously improving platforms, and collaborating with vendors to enhance system functionality. As part of our Global HR Team, you will also have opportunities to contribute to broader strategic talent management activities and initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our HR systems, providing guidance to businesses on system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with HR/HR System stakeholders to interpret business needs into system functionalities.
  • Design and conduct training sessions on HR systems.
  • Maintain and update system documentation.
  • Assess the impact of updates on the broader HRIS infrastructure.
  • Engage with Group IT and HR Programme Director, along with system vendors, in Release Management.
  • Act as a point of escalation for system-related queries, troubleshooting issues, and driving user adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the integration of newly acquired businesses into HR Systems and develop a comprehensive onboarding program.
  • Maintain the HRIS, update employee records, and support new projects and module implementations.
  • Support a purposeful approach to employee engagement through surveys and dashboards.
  • Provide guidance to Managers and Colleagues on HRIS tools and modules to improve the Employee Experience.
  • Support the implementation of a cloud-based applicant tracking system and utilise data analytics for hiring.

Requirements:

  • HR qualification or comparable experience in HR.
  • Strong interest and aptitude for information systems and applications.
  • Curious mindset with a passion for process and systems management.
  • Ability to communicate data findings effectively.
  • Previous experience with SAP Success Factors and Time and Attendance systems preferred.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Works well in a team and under pressure.
  • Collaborates effectively in a virtual team setup.
