Health & Safety Advisor (Dublin South)

Azon are delighted to partner with Ireland’s leading residential developer in hiring a Health & Safety Advisor to be based on-site in Kilkenny. Our client has long-term project work in this region and is looking to expand the team as the company continues to develop..

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager.
• Ensure that site personnel comply with site safety and company requirements.
• Undertaking site support visits, conducting HS inspections and audits; completion of risk assessments.
• Identifying training needs, and report requirements to the project EHS Manager.
• Monitor and analyse health and safety data, compile reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Deliver Health and Safety Inductions, and weekly Toolbox Talks.
• Assist with accident / incident investigation reports.
• Submit weekly reports.
• Carry out daily site walks and report findings to project supervisors immediately.

Requirements:

• Relevant EHS degree essential.
• Minimum 3 Years experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience working in the Construction Sector desired.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and the flexibility to adapt to client and project changes.
