Our client is a leading real estate investment firm with offices based in Dublin. They are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Modeller to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and an understanding and/or interest of real estate markets. As a Financial Modeller, you will play a key role in analysing and evaluating real estate investment opportunities, developing financial models, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate real estate investment opportunities, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analysis, and investment returns.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to assess the feasibility and profitability of potential real estate projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, acquisitions, asset management, and finance to gather relevant data and inputs for financial modeling.
  • Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Evaluate various financing structures and scenarios to optimise capital deployment and maximise returns.
  • Assist in due diligence processes by conducting financial analysis and reviewing legal documentation.
  • Monitor and track the financial performance of existing real estate assets, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the real estate sector.

Requirements:

  • BA degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • Either holding or working towards a professional qualification e.g. ACCA/ACA/CFA
  • Financial modeling skills preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling software and other relevant analytical tools.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for real estate and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
