Job Title: Director of Nursing

Role Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead community engagement efforts to strengthen relationships with local residents, community organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance community outreach and participation in our programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify community needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team to maximize their potential and effectiveness in community engagement activities.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the impact of community engagement efforts.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and external partners, representing our mission and values with integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing community engagement activities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Senior Nursing Management role within Elderly Care settings (within the past 6 years).
  • Possession of a post-registration management qualification (minimum QQI Level 6).
  • Active registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical practice, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HIQA standards, regulations, and the ‘Health Act 2007’.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational proficiencies.
  • Proven ability in effective decision-making.
  • Preference given to candidates with a qualification in Gerontology.
