Cost Manager (Consultancy)

My client is a leading Cost Consultancy in Ireland and internationally and they are seeking an ambitious Cost Manager to join their team in Dublin. This role offers hybrid working and there is huge opportunity for career progression.

Duties

• Conducting background research, data collection and bench marking
• Estimating and producing cost estimates and cost plans
• Compiling and amending tender lists
• Drafting procurement documentation
• Checking and analysing tenders
• Drafting tender reports
• Dealing with variations and the change control processes
• Negotiating less financially significant or complex matters
• Conducting cost checks
• Conducting interim valuations
• Drafting monthly reports
• Analysing the numbers for the final accounts
• Driving and sustaining a high level and quality of service delivery
• Liaising with the client, contractors, designers, etc.
• Raise and enhance our market profile including identifying and converting growth and income opportunities.
• Assist in developing comprehensive and successful responses/submissions to secure further commissions.
• Assist in the development of a sustainable and successful business in line with defined strategic objectives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or relative field
• 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Team player
• Exceptional IT skills
