Role: Business Development Manager

Azon Recruitment Group are working with their client a Life Safety and Security specialist who work throughout all sectors from small so large complex high-risk sites. Together they are hiring a Business Development Manager.
Role
  • Lead and guide the Business Development Department to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Participate in internal management gatherings, providing updates on departmental progress.
  • Formulate and execute a Business Development Plan aligned with company goals.
  • Generate forecasts to anticipate future business needs.
  • Present proposals to prospective clients effectively.
  • Analyse tender documents comprehensively, including drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure precise preparation of quantity take-offs and measured drawings in collaboration with the Estimating Team.
  • Display comprehensive knowledge of product lines throughout the supply chain to recommend optimal solutions.
  • Coordinate the acquisition and assessment of supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Address tender inquiries, submit technical documentation, and manage RFIs.
  • Create itemized bill of quantities with associated costs.
  • Produce tender reports and pricing schedules with accuracy.
  • Offer insights into potential value engineering opportunities.
  • Attend meetings and site visits as necessary.
  • Uphold adherence to tender deadlines.
  • Foster relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
Candidate Requirements: Essential:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant business development experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in delivering compelling presentations to potential clients.
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe when required.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Deep understanding of electrical sub-systems, encompassing various components.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Navisworks for detailed construction model reviews.
  • Capability to estimate turnkey installations and initial project needs.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for precise cost and quantity estimation.
