Azon is delighted to collaborate with a leading global FMCG company, known for its innovative products and impactful market presence to recruit a Category & Insights Manager for their team. This role is open to candidates from Ireland, the Netherlands, and the UK.
As a Category & Insights Manager for EMEA, you will be working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including regional sales, brand management, and market strategy. Reporting to the Head of Channel & Customer Insights, the role involves crafting impactful insights to guide strategic and tactical initiatives for market success. You will play a pivotal role in shaping market intelligence, thereby aiding the formulation of effective commercial strategies.
You will be responsible for:
- Bringing the global category vision to life by blending local category, shopper, consumer, and Brand insights and data.
- Translating market vision into customer-centric insights for growth in channels, categories, and formats.
- Supporting portfolio optimisation through shopper-centric evidence for new product potential.
- Providing insights to influence demand generation strategies in the EMEA region.
- Fostering partnerships with regional and central teams to promote data-centric decision making.
- Developing and maintaining a regional performance dashboard for key metrics.
- Evaluating trade activations, marketing, and promotions for performance and growth patterns.
- Incorporating offline and online KPIs for omnichannel execution excellence.
You will have:
- 4+ years’ experience in market insights and category management within the FMCG sector, ideally with exposure to EMEA markets and prominent retailers.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in handling extensive market and shopper data from renowned sources
- Prior familiarity with retailer-specific category data platforms
