Job Title: Category and Shopper Insights Manager

Role Overview

This role drives regional success by collaborating closely with the sales, brand, and shopper teams. Your mission is to deliver high-impact insights that revolutionise strategic actions, ensuring marketplace triumph. As the Category and Shopper Insights Manager, you’ll be the voice of market intelligence, category insights, and shopper trends within regional and central teams. Your expertise in syndicated data and bespoke research empowers commercial strategy. Our client is based 25 mins north of Dublin Airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Category & Channel Transformation: Harmonise global and local insights to drive growth in the wipes category, with a focus on customer development in the EMEA region.

  • Portfolio Efficiency & Innovation: Validate the potential of new products across core and adjacent categories through insights on channels, packaging, and pricing.

  • Ignite Decisions with Insights: Guide the EMEA demand generation team with comprehensive category, shopper, and marketplace insights.

  • Building Engagement: Forge alliances with regional and central teams, promoting data-driven decision-making.

  • Performance Excellence: Craft and refine the regional performance dashboard, identifying drivers for business growth and ensuring omnichannel execution is world-class.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of category management and shopper insights experience in FMCG, with a preference for EMEA markets.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

  • Experience with Carrefour, Tesco, Auchan & Lidl etc highly desired.
  • Proficiency in working with category and shopper data suppliers, including Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, Edge, Kantar, Mintel, and Euromonitor.

  • Previous experience with retailer-specific category data platforms is a plus.

  • Must have full working rights for relevant location.

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive €65,000 to €70,000 salary with a 20% bonus and comprehensive benefits.

  • Hybrid working arrangement
