They are currently seeking an Assistant Buyer to join their vibrant team. This pivotal role demands a meticulous attention to detail, robust analytical prowess, and an unwavering passion for the beauty industry. Based in the picturesque locale of Ashbourne, this opportunity promises a dynamic and fulfilling career path.

Job Overview:

  • Collaborate with the buying team to curate cosmetics products aligned with brand ethos and target market.
  • Nurture and maintain strong vendor relationships, adeptly negotiating pricing and ensuring seamless product procurement.
  • Proactively monitor inventory levels, forecast demand trends, and contribute to innovative merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in collaborative efforts with the buying team to meticulously research and select cosmetics products.
  • Act as a liaison with vendors, skillfully negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to uphold operational excellence.
  • Employ astute inventory management techniques, forecast demand with precision, and offer vital support in crafting effective merchandising strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a relevant degree or equivalent qualifications.
  • Essential 1-2 years of experience in a retail support buying role.
  • Prior exposure to the cosmetics industry is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in analytical skills, coupled with exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Geographically situated within a commutable distance to Ashbourne, with the flexibility of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
  • Holds a relevant visa without restrictions.
