Agri Underwriting Portfolio Manager

Job Overview:

As the Agri Product Manager, you will take on the role of product and portfolio owner for Agri products, including Farm and Agri Motor. You will dive deep into all aspects of the portfolio, including pricing, customer outcomes, and growth, ensuring that our Agri products meet customer needs and comply with regulatory standards. Leading the implementation of Underwriting Product Oversight and Governance across the Agri Product suite, you will contribute significantly to annual budgeting, strategy, and initiative planning. Utilising and developing Management Information (MI), you will track performance and ensure actions are taken as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Agri product portfolio, focusing on pricing, customer outcomes, and growth.
  • Ensure Agri products meet customer needs and adhere to compliance standards.
  • Lead the implementation of Underwriting Product Oversight and Governance for the Agri Product suite.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting, strategy, and initiative planning.
  • Utilize and develop Management Information (MI) to track performance and drive improvements.
  • Manage acceptance criteria within the Underwriting governance framework to support business strategy.
  • Supervise the control environment in Agri underwriting, focusing on quality standards and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to underwriting teams on portfolio plans, quality underwriting, and risk appetite.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve portfolio objectives.
  • Stay informed about current and future agricultural needs, trends, and requirements to position the portfolio effectively.

Education and Experience:

  • Professional insurance qualification or Degree-level qualifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management/senior leadership experience in the Insurance Industry with a deep understanding of portfolio management and marketing of Insurance products.
