Established almost 10 years ago, our client under Irish ownership and management, embarked on its journey with a singular beauty product. Fast forward eight years, and it has evolved into an award-winning beauty brand comprising an extensive portfolio of over 300 products and three distinct sub-brands.
Job Summary: As the Head of International Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing the international sales strategy to drive revenue growth for their cosmetics brands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in EU/global sales management, a deep understanding of the cosmetics industry.
Key Responsibilities:

International Market Expansion:
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for the company’s cosmetics products.
- Develop and implement market entry strategies to ensure successful expansion into target regions.

Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with product development, marketing, and supply chain activities.

Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing international sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, providing guidance and support to team members.

Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key international retailers, distributors, and partners.
- Collaborate with key accounts to negotiate terms, drive sales, and enhance brand visibility.

Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor international market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on sales performance, market share, and emerging opportunities.

Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the international sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximise return on investment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing ideally but not essential
- Proven experience in international sales management, with a focus on cosmetics or beauty products.
- Strong understanding of global market dynamics and cultural nuances.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
