Role: Quality Assurance Specialist
About our client:
Azon are delighted to be partnered with a pharmaceutical company located in Offaly for the recruitment of a full time, permanent, Quality Assurance Specialist. The primary responsibilities for the ideal candidate will involve overseeing and supporting QA operations within manufacturing. The candidate will also execute and supervise tasks ensuring product compliance with QA policies, cGMPs, SOPs, and Standard Requirement Documents.
Location: Offaly
About the Role:
- Providing QA oversight and support for manufacturing operations, addressing issues in collaboration with stakeholders
- Serving as the quality point-of-contact for equipment/process/schedule disruptions, documenting and resolving potential non-conformance’s in real-time
- Conducting area walkthroughs, overseeing non-routine work documentation, and ensuring inspection readiness
- Participating in shift huddles, offering QA insights for ongoing operations, and assisting in problem containment
- Offering consultation aligned with QA policies, representing QA in complex investigations, and interacting with external partners on QA policies and procedures
- Training and mentoring employees on processes, reviewing and approving controlled documents, investigations, and consistently evaluating processes for enhancements
About the Person:
- BSc in a scientific discipline
- At least 2+ years’ experience
- Familiarity with biologics manufacturing operations
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities for cross-functional interaction
- Prioritization skills to manage multiple assignments and evolving deadlines
- Proficiency in learning and utilizing computerized systems for daily tasks
