Senior Tech Support Engineer/ IT Manager

We have partnered with a leading Irish organization to recruit a Senior Tech Support Engineer/ IT Manager to manage their IT support team.

In this role, you will report to the Head of IT and will be responsible for managing a team of 2 IT support engineers. You will support the team to design, develop and recommend technical solutions.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Identifying and implementing automation solutions
  • Working closely with the team when 3rd line support is required
  • Supporting third-party software applications
  • Prioritizing tickets and workload and acting as a point of escalation

You will have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Technical Support Engineer
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Strong experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, Routers, VLAN, Firewalls, VMware, PowerShell
  • Qualifications such as CCNA, MSCE, and MS Azure
