Our client is a global MedTech company with multiple sites in Ireland.
Due to new acquisitions and huge new business wins, they are now building a brand-new Tech team here in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
- Prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
- Produce clean, efficient code for tools and applications.
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
- Review, debug, and perform validation and verification testing.
- Collaborate internally and with vendors to enhance products.
- Document development phases and monitor systems.
- Ensure software aligns with latest technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven Senior Software Engineer experience.
- Extensive background in software development, scripting, and project management.
- Familiarity with system monitoring and automated testing tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, and Java/J2EE.
- In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience across Linux, Mac OS, and Windows operating systems.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or related field.
