Senior CORU Registered Medical Lab Scientist – Haematology/Serology

Azon are delighted to be partnered with an Irish company specialising in Immunohaematology in Dublin City Centre for the recruitment of a Senior Medical Lab Scientist. This company are renowned for their dedicated culture and people, as well as their excellent opportunities for development and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all work to lab policies and procedures.
  • Implementation of processes to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Test and process patient/donor samples.
  • Complex red cell antibody investigations.
  • Operation of automated testing systems, maintenance of equipment, validation of testing kits, preparation of samples for testing, recording and reporting results.
  • Attend laboratory training as required.
  • Write and update laboratory documentation as required.

Requirements:

  • Registration with CORU essential.
  • Experience with GMP/GLP.
  • Knowledge of ISO15189:2012.
  • Experience within blood transfusion lab.
