Azon is delighted to be partnering with an Irish plc with over 50 years in business to assist them in hiring a Risk specialist in their Dublin office. The company is one of Ireland’s largest insurers and offers an attractive benefits and progression opportunities.

WHY THIS ROLE?

This is an exciting opportunity to join of an established risk function that involves partnering across various business areas and so gaining valuable knowledge and experience across the whole business. The role offers great exposure to the Senior Management Team and Executives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Development and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework with a focus on IT risk and controls.
  • Complete RCSA and risk assessments in all business areas.
  • Review and update risk policy and procedures in response to identified operational and IT risks across the business.
  • Development of Operational Risk Appetite Indicators.
  • Provide recommendations for risk improvements across existing applications, technology and processes.

ABOUT THE PERSON

  • Knowledge and experience in IT risk management.
  • Experience in risk or internal audit.
  • Experience in RCSA and completing risk management frameworks.
  • Strong reporting and problem solving skills.
