Role: QA Supervisor

Client: Our client is a multinational food manufacturing business. The successful candidate will ensure compliance to the quality management systems, policies, procedures, and protocols. They will also be responsible for driving a compliant work environment, leading a high performing team to deliver against defined business goals, objectives, and key performance indicators.

Location: Monaghan

Core responsibilities:

  • Manage the QA Team – shift reviews and recruitment.
  • Ensure the site is continuously in a state of audit readiness.
  • Participate, investigate and improve any nonconformances raised through customer, third party, internal and GMP audits as well as mock recall and traceability activities.
  • Implement Policy, Technical and Standard Operating Procedures in line with regulatory, customer and site requirements.
  • Ensure that all products produced are of the highest Safety and Quality standards.
  • Works closely with the Hygiene Teams to ensure that cleaning is conducted effectively.
  • Be a key member of the site TACCP, HACCP, Internal and GMP Audit teams.

Experience required:

  • 3+ years of industry experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in the Food Manufacturing environment.
  • Qualification in Food Science/Food Technology (not essential but is an advantage).
  • Certifications in Internal Auditing, Train the Trainer, HACCP, and/or TACCP.
  • A strong technical and quality background and knowledge of Industry Food Standards
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
