Our client is a multinational manufacturing firm with its headquarters based in North Co. Dublin. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

The Management Accountant will play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making within the organisation. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will be involved in financial operations, providing insightful analysis, and implementing new financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and yearly management accounts for the Group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process and prepare quarterly forecasts to support strategic planning.
  • Maintain an accurate job costing system to provide insights into product profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Work with the Finance Director to develop and maintain financial policies, controls, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury matters, including foreign exchange hedging and capital expenditure control.
  • Analyse financial data and communicate insights to support strategic decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Manage grant and R&D tax credit applications, as well as the annual insurance renewal process.
  • KPI reporting and collaborating across functions to deliver strategic initiatives and cost-saving initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years PQE in a similar environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior management.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence.
