Azon are delighted to be partnering with Ireland’s leading Estate Agents to assist them in hiring a Lettings Support Agent based in their Galway office. They operate within a busy and dynamic environment delivering a service of excellence. The successful candidate will be capable of working on their own initiative, be a proactive team member with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling tenant inquiries via phone and email.
- Scheduling viewing appointments.
- Conducting property viewings.
- Collecting applications and references from tenants.
- Verifying and obtaining approval for tenant applications and references from the landlord.
- Collecting holding deposits and first month’s rent.
- Organizing the signing of tenancy agreements and preparing the necessary documents.
- Managing the preparation of tenancy assignments.
- Supervising lease renewals and rent reviews in compliance with legal requirements.
- Drafting termination notices in accordance with the law.
- Addressing any tenancy-related issues as they arise.
- Performing lettings administration tasks when needed.
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of prior experience in customer service.
- Possession of a valid and clean driver’s license.
- Having a PSRA license is preferred.
- Familiarity with property maintenance.
- Understanding of tenancy laws and the rights of landlords and tenants.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure.
- Must be self-motivated, adept at multitasking, and possess exceptional attention to detail.
- Solution-oriented mindset, skilled at problem-solving and demonstrating initiative.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks.
- Positive contribution to the team dynamics.
