ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Azon are delighted to be partnering with a leading professional indemnity insurance intermediary to assist them in hiring a Legal Counsel to join their team based in Dublin 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor with strong medico-legal knowledge to join a dynamic organisation.

This is a permanent position, and the company offers flexible working arrangements and a competitive remuneration package.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Assist members with matters relating to professional conduct and ethics
  • Assist and advise members with queries or dilemmas as they arise
  • Educate on risk management awareness and training
  • Assist members drafting depositions for inquests, preparing for hearings and liaise with external legal panel
  • Keep abreast of and consider new legislation, regulation and case law
  • Ad hoc projects as appropriate

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • 3 years’ PQE
  • Experience in medico-legal within Ireland
  • Clinical negligence litigation experience would be preferable
  • Experience with regulatory complaints processes would be beneficial
