IT Security Officer

We have partnered with a leading insurance provider to recruit an IT Security Risk and Compliance officer for their IT Governance team. They have ambitious plans for growing their team in 2023.

This is a key control role within their IT department where you will be responsible for managing the information security strategy, policies, and procedures.

In this role, you will get an opportunity to design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security processes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and defining system security requirements
  • Engineering, implementing and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information
  • Developing technical solutions, and new security tools, preparing and documenting SOPs

You will have:

  • Proven experience as an Information Security Engineer/ System Security Engineer or an Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for security
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining security systems
  • Experience in security systems – firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication system, etc.
