In this role, the Intermediate / Project Surveyor will be responsible for the management of subcontractors accounts, cash management, project financials and cost control.

Reports To – Commercial Manger / Senior Surveyor

Work With – Project members, Senior site manager, site manager, senior surveyor

Willing To – travel to various sites if required

Roles and Responabilities

The Project Surveyor will work closely with and report to the Commercial Director / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Liaising with stakeholders on relevant queries and taking ownership to resolve same issuing of tender inquiries and compiling tender comparatives for

Advise on any concerns or value engineering detail as appropriate

Conducting on-site evaluations/tick sheets

Preparing cost reports and cash flow forecasts as well as other duties assigned by the senior QS

Measure work packages, generate a BOQ, issue tender documents to suppliers and sub-contractors

Work closely with the Senior QS on Sub Contractor and Supplier payment

Preparing monthly CVR Reports with focus on the cost to complete

Skills & Qualifications

A degree in Quantity Surveying is essential with 3 years post graduate experience and previous experience in residential projects is a distinct advantage

A strong set of IT Skills including proficient experience in Microsoft Skills & Experience Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and knowledge of estimaüng software is advantageous

Excellent people skills with the ability to integrate and play an active part in the team

Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.
