Financial Accountant

Our client is a leading Irish retailer and they are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their professional team. This position reports to the Finance Manager and has internal career progression opportunities. A generous salary along with benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of annual financial statements
• Monthly balance sheet review and reconciliations
• Analyse monthly financial information and investigate variances
• Business partnering with stakeholders
• Analyse budget vs actual performance with commentary
• Dealing with internal and external audit queries when arise
• Assist with capital investment and business planning acquisitions

The Candidate

• Qualified Accountant
• Excellent communication and presenting skills
• Strong attention to detail and can work in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Advanced Excel.
