The Role: Financial Accountant
The Client: Our Client offers a complete end-to-end security services offering to its enterprise clients, covering their security from every angle.
The Location: Dublin
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual accounts
- Analysis of monthly and annual financial information as well as commentary on movements vs budget and PY
- Monthly analysis of the various revenue streams:
1. Hardware & Software sales
2. Professionally service days worked & sold
3. Managed Security Service contract revenue recognition over life of contract
- Quarterly review of costs vs budget to determine if accruals are in line with expectations or if the budget needs to be adjusted going forward
- Review of FX liability exposure based on creditor liabilities in various currencies compared to FX deals on hand
- Preparing balance sheet and cashflow statements for trading entities for review monthly
- Preparing consolidated group management accounts, balance sheet, and cashflow statement on a quarterly basis
- Preparation of YE accounts and workings for the audit as well as dealing with any queries that arise
- Provide training and support for more junior employees in the finance department
- Development and improvement of financial processes and reports
Requirements:
- Big 4/Top 6 Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
- 1-2 years’ experience, in a relevant/similar role
- Good technical knowledge
- Strong Excel skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to multitask and manage own workload in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with multiple and remote teams
- Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to work within team deadlines
