Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining existing accounting systems and migrating to new technologies that will further streamline processes and reporting.

  • Managing all aspects of Rental and other Ancillary income for the properties.

  • Overseeing the Accounts Payable function.

  • Building and managing an accounting team appropriate for the size of the organisation and portfolio.

  • Managing Payroll.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting.

  • Performance Reporting and Analysis.

  • Governance and Controls.

  • Cashflow Management.

  • Liaising with Senior Management, Clients and 3rd Party Service Providers.

  • Ability to report to and liaise with peers within multinational institutional funds.

  • Developing a strong working relationship with the Directors of the parent company

  • Timely delivery of management accounts and annual audit.

  • Co-ordinating board meetings.

Engaging with relevant tax and other professional advisors.

  • Preparation of Management Reports

The candidate should possess the following characteristics:

  • Highly organised, deadline driven, conscientious and diligent with a strong work ethic and passion for being part of an exciting growth journey

  • Ability to lead a team and grow within the organisation towards a role as CFO/Financial Controller

  • Strong excel and report writing skills.

  • Qualified Accountant with minimum 5 years’ PQE.

  • Previous experience in property is preferable but not essential.

  • Proficiency with Yardi software is a distinct advantage.
